Where industry intelligence is going next, and who's building it
For over five decades, the world's most sophisticated institutions have relied on IBISWorld to navigate uncertainty, identify opportunity and stay ahead of change. Banks, consulting firms, governments: when the stakes are high and the answer has to be right, they come to us.
That trust is our legacy, and it's our starting point. We're advancing beyond traditional research into AI-enabled, actionable intelligence, embedding human-verified insight directly into the workflows our clients live in so they can see further and decide faster. The ground is shifting in our industry, and we are the ones moving it.
You'd be joining at the most exciting moment to do so.
Why this role, right now
We're at an exciting stage of growth across the UK and Europe, and we're investing heavily in how we enable our sales teams to succeed. As our business grows, so does the opportunity to use data, technology and smarter processes to help our people sell better, sell faster, and focus on what matters most: building great client relationships.
This isn't a back-office support role. It's a highly visible position at the centre of our commercial organisation. You'll work directly with sales leadership, marketing, IT, and our global operations teams to uncover insights, improve systems, and drive projects that have a genuine impact on revenue performance.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, loves solving problems, and gets excited by finding better ways of doing things. You'll have the freedom to challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas to the table, and help shape how sales enablement evolves within the business.
What you'll own
You'll sit at the centre of our commercial organisation, helping our sales teams sell better, sell faster, and make smarter decisions. Your mission is simple: turn data into insights, insights into action, and action into commercial results. This role blends analytics, technology, process improvement and enablement. You'll help uncover opportunities, remove friction from the sales process, and ensure our teams have the tools and information they need to perform at their best.
- Own the quality and effectiveness of our sales data, reporting, and enablement processes
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and analysis that help leaders make better commercial decisions
- Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers hidden within our data
- Manage and continuously improve lead management, routing, and qualification processes
- Support and administer our sales technology stack, including Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other enablement tools
- Partner with sales leaders to improve productivity, pipeline performance, forecasting and execution
- Train, support and enable team members to get more value from our systems and data
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, MIS, HR and global Revenue Operations teams on strategic projects
- Bring fresh thinking, curiosity and creativity to how we work, helping us continuously improve
Help shape our London office experience
While the majority of your time will be focused on enabling our commercial teams, you'll also help ensure our London office remains a productive, welcoming and well-organised environment.
- Coordinate office events, team celebrations and local initiatives that help foster a strong culture
- Manage office supplies, orders and deliveries to keep the office running smoothly
- Act as a key point of contact for building management and workplace-related enquiries
- Coordinate maintenance requests and office improvements when needed
- Support local onboarding and office-based initiatives
- Provide general operational support to help create a great experience for employees and visitors alike
This is a small but important part of the role. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, notices the little things, and takes pride in creating a workplace where people can do their best work.
Who thrives here
We hire for potential and mindset as much as experience. The people who do their best work at IBISWorld tend to:
- Be naturally curious and enjoy solving problems
- Get excited by finding patterns in data and turning them into meaningful business insights
- Embrace change and thrive in fast-moving environments
- Take ownership and look for opportunities to improve things without being asked
- Balance analytical thinking with creativity and fresh ideas
- Love learning new technologies, systems and ways of working
- Build strong relationships and collaborate across different teams
- Question assumptions and use evidence to guide decisions
- Stay organised and composed when juggling multiple priorities
- Have a genuine passion for helping others succeed
If you're someone who enjoys working out how things can be better than they are today, you'll fit right in.
What you'll bring
We're deliberately focused on finding the right person, not a perfect list of credentials.
- Experience working with data, reporting, analysis or business operations
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and levels of the business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to translate data into practical recommendations and actions
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
- Exposure to sales operations, revenue operations, business analysis or enablement
- Experience building reports, dashboards or working with data visualisation tools
- Familiarity with sales technology platforms such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar
- Experience supporting sales or customer-facing teams
Don't have all of the above?
That's okay.
If you're eager to learn, enjoy working with data, and want to build your career in a commercial and technology-focused role, we'd love to hear from you. We can teach systems and tools. Curiosity, drive and a growth mindset are harder to find.
The offer
This is a career-building opportunity with significant exposure to senior leaders, global projects and the commercial engine of a growing business.
You'll gain hands-on experience with leading sales technologies, learn how high-performing revenue teams operate, and have the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one.
Beyond that, you'll join a team that values initiative, rewards curiosity, and gives people the freedom to improve how things are done. Your ideas won't disappear into a suggestion box. If they make sense, we'll help you bring them to life.
We're looking for someone who wants more than just another reporting role. If you're excited by the idea of solving commercial problems, learning quickly, and helping a sales organisation perform at its best, we'd love to speak with you.
