About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of corporate, social, and promotional events. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for creating memorable experiences. You will work closely with senior event professionals to ensure seamless event logistics, vendor coordination, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of events, including corporate meetings, trade shows, social gatherings, and promotional activations.
- Vendor & Venue Management: Research and coordinate with venues, caterers, entertainment providers, and other vendors to secure event services within budget.
- Logistics & Setup: Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring all materials, signage, and equipment are in place.
- Client & Guest Support: Assist with guest registration, RSVP tracking, and responding to inquiries before and during events.
- Marketing & Communication: Help draft event invitations, promotional materials, and social media updates to drive attendance and engagement.
- Budget & Reporting: Assist in tracking event expenses, invoices, and financial reports to maintain budget compliance.
- Administrative Support: Maintain event timelines, contracts, and checklists to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related role.
- Event planning in Financial Services is preffered.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software/tools is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Passion for events, creativity, and a customer-first mindset.
Compensation: 80-100K
