About the Role:
At IBISWorld, we take pride in delivering a premier client experience by combining market-leading intelligence with seamless technology solutions. As a Technical Sales Engineer specializing in API Integrations & Client Success, you will partner with clients to unlock the full value of our data through robust APIs and third-party integrations. This includes supporting seamless connectivity with platforms such as the Salesforce App, Snowflake, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise applications. From the first technical conversation through long-term adoption, you'll act as both consultant and advocate, helping clients embed IBISWorld into their ecosystems to drive measurable outcomes. This role reports to the SVP of Client Solutions and is a critical member of the Client Solutions Team.
What You'll Do:
Client Partnership
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, guiding clients from initial scoping and solution design through implementation to post-sales success.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, acting as a translator between client needs and IBISWorld’s technical capabilities.
• Ensure smooth integrations with IBISWorld’s RESTful APIs and third-party platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Copilot by proactively addressing potential challenges before they become issues.
Pre-Sales & Scoping
• Collaborate with revenue teams to qualify opportunities from existing clients, gather technical requirements, and recommend API-driven integration strategies.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation, solution design input, and architectural guidance to ensure proposed solutions align with client systems and IBISWorld's technical capabilities.
• Advocate for clients internally, sharing insights with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to help shape integration experiences and future roadmap priorities.
Sales Calls & Demonstrations
• Lead technical discussions and workshops during client calls, showcasing integration capabilities, workflows, and best practices.
• Demonstrate how IBISWorld solutions seamlessly integrate into environments like Salesforce dashboards, Snowflake data warehouses, and Copilot workflows, clearly articulating the ROI of these integrations.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to align technical solutions with client business goals and drive adoption.
Post-Sales & Ongoing Success
• Act as the main technical contact post-implementation, coordinating with client IT teams and IBISWorld technical support to troubleshoot and resolve API or integration issues quickly.
• Deliver training and enablement sessions to help clients maximize the value of their Salesforce, Snowflake, and Copilot integrations.
• Proactively monitor adoption, identify opportunities for expansion, and recommend enhancements or new integrations to strengthen the client experience.
• Contribute technical expertise across the Client Solutions team to deliver tailored integration strategies that extend into enterprise platforms and BI ecosystems.
What We're Looking For
• Practical experience building and supporting integrations between RESTful APIs and client systems. including designing data flows and collaborating with client IT teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Hands-on experience configuring SaaS products to connect with third-party platforms, such as Salesforce (SFDC), Snowflake, Microsoft Dynamics or Copilot, and BI tools; exposure to nCino integrations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT, with an understanding of how to apply them in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach for building trust with both technical and business audiences.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships end-to-end, delivering a consistent, high-quality experience.
• A client-first mindset with a passion for long-term relationship building, adoption, and value delivery.
Compensation 105-115K
