The Role

We are seeking energetic Client Relationship Managers (CRM’s) with previous successful experience in fostering relationships through account management, as well as a background in product-driven pipeline development. You will manage and grow an existing book of business. provide proactive service to ensure that we assist clients in using our data to help their businesses succeed and will be responsible for all account management & growth activities.

You will liaise with bank leadership, managers and procurement departments to renew client contracts and will maximize revenue growth by uncovering new opportunities and by pursuing areas where other IBISWorld products meet the client's needs.  This full-time position is based in our New York, NY office located at 285 Fulton Street - One World Trade Center

Reporting to the Client Service Division Manager, you will:

  • Proactively manage existing clients to maintain and build relationships within a portfolio with the goal being client retention & growth
  • Identify, progress, and close growth opportunities to maintain results aligned with revenue targets
  • Maintain professional relationships with Decision Makers, Administrators, Key Contacts and License Users
  • Adhere to put forth KPIs
  • Implement sales processes and Account Management techniques developed during training
  • Proactively promote awareness and training of clients to ensure value of license is received
  • Identify and make contact with new contacts within your portfolio to facilitate and foster greater utility
  • Use a consultative sales approach with clients: identify their pain points and needs and match IBISWorld market research products accordingly
  • Deal with incoming queries, issues and day to day needs of your clients as they arise
  • Attend departmental training sessions and other professional development activities

 

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Previous customer service and sales experience required
  • Strong understanding of negotiation tactics, familiarity with navigating procurement process
  • Excellent phone and email communication skills
  • Cold-calling experience
  • Experience in product presentations across all levels of an organization up to C-Level
  • Ability to engage with clients across a variety of financial service-based topics
  • Understanding of a sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed targets
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work duties to meet deadlines
  • A team player who can work with team members and other departments to achieve results
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Basic understanding of current industry trends

Compensation - Base 90K (not including bonus and commissions)
